I would like to say how proud and pleased I am that the school has achieved Arts status. It has taken a great deal of planning and the Arts staff, along with Mrs Webber, have had to create a vision for the future of the school.
The status is a reflection of the outstanding work already taking place within the school and I would like to thank all of those students who have spoken to Inspectors and visitors about the arts at Longton High School.
We look forward to the exciting opportunities that this will offer to students and the opportunity to offer a number of activities, including workshops to parents and the wider community
