A group of year 10 students from Longton High School won a place in the West Midlands Regional Final of the 'Make Your Mark Enterprise Challenge'.
They were presented with the challenge of "Having Fun...Make a Ton!"
They came up with an idea of having a room that uses air pressure to let you fly.
After preparing financial information and researching their competitors they then produced a video based on the BBC series of Dragon's Den to present their ideas to the judges.
Using the CLC's camera and Sound recording equipment we filmed the dramatisation of the bid. The students were informed of standard acting and filming procedure.
When the program had been filmed from several angles and cutaways filmed.
Unfortunately though they didn’t win a place in the national final, but one judge did state that he would invest in the company!
The students have worked very hard on this project and all the school is very proud of them.
